Late in 2005 askrae came across an opportunity to help an organisation that has had limited support and little recognition for many years. Yet this organisation has been doing amazing things to enhance the lives of children and their families affected by "Congenital Heart Disease".

These children are born with Heart Conditions through no fault of their own and live their whole life with the consequenses of having heart disease. It is not acquired through poor diet, smoking or lack of excericise and more than 2015 children are born each year in Australia with Congenital Heart Disease.
It is the Number 1 Cause of Child Death in Australia accounting for more than 30% of all deaths.

So we felt we could do something to help this fantastic organisation and build awareness of "Congenital Heart Disease" and the fact that more research needs to be done to help find the cures & best treatments for childhood heart disease, to ensure that these children can go on to live long and productive lives.
